| About the Deroma Sorbet Vasum Planter
The Deroma Sorbet line consists of essential shapes decorated in distinctive sorbet shades. They are lightweight, durable and give a whole room individual character with a bright welcome. With strong roots in their Italian design, Deroma planters are an inlet to a story told by hands of tradition, culture and artistry that is so rarely found in today's "mass producing" societies.
About the Material
The Deroma Sorbet Vasum, in red, orange or lime, is hand made from fine clay, and then enameled, which transforms each pot into a unique creation, made of full shades. About Italian Designed Pottery
The art of hand-crafting fine pottery has permeated Italian culture for hundreds of years. In fact, in the early 14th century, handcrafted and painted pottery was valued so greatly that it was used to pay off large tax debts by townsfolk, and kept as trophies by warriors of Crusades in their victories. It was during the Renaissance period where artists realized the pottery's true artistic potential by creating intricate designs which today, are showcased in museums around the world.
The unmistakable originality and authenticity of the Sorbet planters will be a topic of discussion for years to come.
