| About the Deroma Etna Tall Square Planter
The Deroma Etna Tall Square is a minimalist and restrained style with clear-cut lines and neutral colors. They are durable and have the breath-ability of clay pottery. Featuring two tones and a broad presentation, they give a whole room individual character. With strong roots in their Italian design, Deroma planters are an inlet to a story told by hands of tradition, culture and artistry that is so rarely found in today's "mass producing" societies.
About the Material
The Deroma Etna Tall Square, in shades of terracotta, is made from Terra di Galestro, a clay that can only be found in one place in the world – a limited area of Tuscany. It contains particles of pyrites which create a charming surface unevenness, embellishing each piece with unique nuances. They are produced according to ancient Tuscan techniques, cast in plaster moulds, and finished off by hand producing sophisticated effects. These unique pots sustain the breathe-ability, and resistance to frost and UV rays of traditional terracotta.
About the Sizes
The Etna Tall Square comes in two sizes and can be used inside or out. Whether planting a singular topiary or multiple blooms, these planters can be mixed and matched to bring variety to your home, garden or storefront.

About Italian Designed Pottery
The art of hand-crafting fine pottery has permeated Italian culture for hundreds of years. In fact, in the early 14th century, handcrafted and painted pottery was valued so greatly that it was used to pay off large tax debts by townsfolk, and kept as trophies by warriors of Crusades in their victories. It was during the Renaissance period where artists realized the pottery's true artistic potential by creating intricate designs which today, are showcased in museums around the world.
The unmistakable originality and authenticity of the Etna planters will be a topic of discussion for years to come.
